Founded in 1920 in Spoleto, Umbria — with roots tracing back to 1891 — Monini was established by Zefferino Monini, who, after returning from military service, dedicated himself to producing superior-quality extra virgin olive oil.
As early as the 1950s, Monini became one of the first Italian producers to introduce glass bottles for olive oil, replacing traditional demijohns.
Today, Monini remains a family-owned company, continuing to uphold its long-standing values of quality, authenticity, and innovation.

The oil is stored in stainless-steel tanks under nitrogen to protect its flavor, antioxidants, and natural clarity through precise filtration and clarification.
